ATLAS CEDARWOOD OIL
Its aroma is masculine and appealing to men, and is said to be an aphrodisiac. It makes a good calming and grounding oil, and is useful in meditation blends.
Emotionally, Sandalwood Oil is calming and helps to instill a sense of inner peace. It is a good choice to try in cases of stress, depression or low self esteem.
BALSAM PERU OIL
Emotionally, Peru Balsam Oil is soothing and and can help during times of stress, it can act as a stimulant.
BERGAMOT (ITALY) OIL
Bergamot Essential Oil may be helpful in use during periods of depression, sadness or grief, and it is known for its ability to help combat oily skin and acne.
CEDAR WOOD (VIRGINIA) OIL
Cedarwood virginian essential oil is used to treat muscular aches and pains, painful joints, rheumatism and arthritis. It is particularly beneficial when blended with Roman or German chamomile essential oils when used in massage.
CHAMOMILE BLUE OIL
Chamomile Oil is heralded for its anti-inflammatory action. It can be used to help calm inflamed skin and to ease arthritis, headaches, sprains and muscle aches.
CINNAMON BARK (TRUE)
Cinnamon Bark oil is an extremely strong antibacterial and antifungal oil, a wonderful addition to air cleansing blends in the winter. When inhaled, it serves as a respiratory and circulatory stimulant and antiseptic. Emotionally, Cinnamon is useful for emotional and/or mental fatigue and lack of concentration.$28.90
CLOVE LEAF OIL
Clove oil is a useful contribution to blends for the diffuser or lamp. It is stimulating to the mind and memory, helpful in cases of fatigue and/or depression. Some claim it is helpful with headaches.
EUCALYPTUS (CHINA) OIL
The traditional sharply-scented eucalyptus you are probably familiar with, best known for its respiratory effects. Eucalyptus fights viruses and bacteria, while easing congestion. It also eases muscle and joint aches and pains.
FIR NEEDLE (SIBERIAN) OIL
For those who love the conifers (or even those who don’t) this is a must-have oil for diffusing. Clear the air, reduce stress, and tension. A marvelously freeing aroma.
GINGER (CHINA) OIL
Ginger Essential Oil is wonderfully soothing for aching joints and muscles, or an upset tummy. It is a wonderful ingredient in massage blends for aching muscles, or as a warming ingredient in a “chest rub” for a cold or flu.
GRAPEFRUIT (PINKJ) OIL
It fairly sparkles, it’s so bright and crisp, both energizing and uplifting. Grapefruit is recommended by some authorities for treating eating disorders, both anorexia and overeating, when they stem from lack of self esteem. It seems to create a feeling of internal buoyancy.
LEMON (ARGENTINAJ) OIL
Lemon Essential Oil has fever reducing action as well as its effective germicidal action, so it’s a good oil to use to aid in treating colds and fevers. Lemon oil stimulates the immune system, and stimulates circulation.
LEMONGRASS (CHINA) OIL
Lemongrass essential oil is considered an excellent physical tonic. It is said to boost the parasympathetic nervous system which hastens recovery from illness. Historically, the herbal form of Lemongrass has been used in traditional Indian medicine for infectious illnesses and fever.
This is a powerful antibacterial oil, gentler than the melaleucas (ie, Tea Tree, etc.). Similar in action to Tea Tree, but much less medicinal in aroma, this healing oil is honey scented. Use as you would Tea Tree, for anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral benefits.
To assist with the respiratory system it may be used as a balm on the chest, in vapor therapy, or as an inhalant. When massaged directly onto the skin it leaves an immediate feeling of cool or cold on the skin helping to relax muscle and reduce inflammation.
OLIBANUM OMAN (FRANKINCENSE) OIL
Frankincense is used most often for spiritual, perfumery and incense /room fragrancing applications but is useful as an expectorant and sometimes is used in respiratory and cough formulations. Emotionally, the aroma is grounding, calming and relaxing without being sedating. The aroma is woody, earthy and also has a slightly fruity/sweet, warm, spicy attitude to it.
OREGON LAVENDER OIL
The therapeutic benefits of Lavender are varied and many. It is perhaps the most versatile essential oil, used for many conditions affecting the digestive, respiratory and nervous systems and in the treatment of muscular and joint pain.
Patchouli Essential Oil is calming and grounding. Spiritually, it has been used alone or in blends during prayer and meditation.
PEPPERMINT (OREGON) OIL
Stimulating to a tired brain. Used for headaches, sore throats, muscle aches, insect bites, toothaches, sweetens the breath. Perfect to take along on camping trips, or to keep in the medicine chest.Anti-inflammatory. Used for treating mites in honey bees.
The oil soothes mucus membraines and can be used in cough syrups, cough drops and other similar products. Also having a natural calming effect on the mind and body, it relieves stress, anxiety and gives an overall sense of calm.
Rose attar oil is very therapeutic giving the body an overall sense of calm and relaxation. It relaxes the nerves, relieving stress and anxiety. The powerful and unique aroma of rose attar gives the feeling of compassion and love. Also known for its ability to sexual rejuvenate and excite.
SWEET ORANGE OIL
The essential oil of the Sweet Orange is delightfully bright and cheery, strongly antidepressant. Used in the aroma lamp, it brightens the atmosphere of a room. Blended with any of the spice or coniferous oils it makes a wonderful winter holiday blend. Orange is refreshing and relaxing.
Tangerine is a natural sedative and tends to have a very calming effect on the mind and body relieving anxiety, stress, as well as nervous tension. Relieves intestinal problems, constipation, and indigestion.
TEA TREE (AUSTRALIAN) OIL
Tea Tree oil wards off those pesky bugs, and has been used to treat insect bites. Tea Tree Oil is an antibacterial, decongestant, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal.
YLANG-YLANG III OIL
Ylang ylang oil is naturally relaxing that is soft and sensual, pleasing to most everyone. It may be used to treat skin from acne, but bites, insect bites, and wounds. It calms the mind and body leaving a sense of well being.
