Custom Designed Foot Orthotics by Sole Supports.
"Our feet are responsible for absorbing shock many times our
body weight multiple times a day. Wearing a custom orthotic can help the body
correctly distribute those forces"
Q. What is a Custom Orthotic?
A. A Custom Orthotic is a support that is worn in your shoe. A mold is taken of
your foot and shipped to a laboratory where the Orthotic is made. The Orthotic
is worn inside of your shoe.
Q. What does a Custom Orthotic do?
A. A custom orthotic is designed to correct the way that your foot absorbs
shock.
Q. I heard that a Custom Orthotic can help with my back pain, is this
true?
A. Yes, this is true. Each time you take a step forces transmit from your feet
up our spine. If our feet don't absorb the shock the rest of your body will.
This force will end up in your hip, back, neck etc. Much like what happens when
the shocks go bad in our automobiles.
Q. How long can I expect my orthotics to last?
A. The average is 7 to 8 years. If you gain over 35 pounds a new orthotic will
need to be made. Sole Supports Orthotics are created to your specific weight.
Q. Will insurance cover my Custom Orthotics?
A. Insurance companies are learning the benefits of Custom Orthotics.
Many insurance companies cover Custom Orthotics prescribed by a doctor. The only
way to determine if your insurance will cover would be for our office to contact
your insurance company. more
Q. What is the cost of a Custom Orthotic is my insurance does not
cover them?
A. The price of the fitting, the custom orthotic and any additional
modifications is $350.00
Q. What if I don't like the Orthotics?
A. We can modify the orthotic in office to make sure that they fit your
foot exactly. If we are not able to make the orthotic work for you, you can
return your orthotic for a full refund.
